Interprofessional Team Training Course

The STRATUS Interprofessional Team Training (ITT) Course, open to Brigham and Women’s Hospital personnel, is an opportunity to practice teamwork and communication in a safe environment to ultimately improve patient outcomes.

This 2-hour course offers training in Crisis Resource Management (CRM) to navigate events with complex communication needs to improve patient outcomes. The course provides a psychologically safe environment for participants to practice:

  • Recognition and early call for assistance
  • Exercising leadership and followership skills
  • Communicating effectively
  • Distributing the workload
  • Using cognitive aids while caring for a critically ill patient

The course is interprofessional and open to any Brigham and Women’s Hospital healthcare professional or patient facing staff.
