We are pleased to welcome Robson Jaques Verly, PhD to the team at STRATUS! Dr. Verly is joining us from Brazil and will work as a Research Fellow for the next two years in the Human Factors and Cognitive Engineering Lab with Dr. Roger Dias.
Dr. Verly received a PhD in Space Geophysics from the National Institute for Space Research in Brazil. He also has a BS in Physics and a master’s degree in Environmental Technologies from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul. As a software developer, Dr. Verly has created several applications to solve problems in the fields of automation, sensor integration, data analysis, solution optimization, cloud computing, web applications, cross-platform applications, and learning systems.
Dr. Verly brings research experience with remote sensing, virtual/immersive reality applications, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence, all of which are core technologies used in the Human Factors and Cognitive Engineering Lab. We are thrilled to have Dr. Verly on board and we look forward to seeing his achievements with the research team!
